As many of the parents in Madera Ranchos and Bonnadelle know, there are no local playgrounds for our children to play. Recently, some local residents formed a group to have a park built in our area. Recognizing a need for a community park, Golden Valley Unified School District has committed to providing three acres of land and the Ranchos Kiwanis Club signed on as the lead organization to make the park a reality.
We all need to get involved to build and support this park.
We could use assistance from builders, electricians, landscapers, parents, students and others from our local area who would be willing to give some time and financial support.
